Let's jump to the end - what the completed project looks like!

Completed - inside view

Looks like it came out of the factory like this!

Complete - roof view

Plenty of room for the Polar Mach 13,500 BTU model

Let's take a look at the project step-by-step in pictures

I always like to get wiring out of the way first...

Completed wiring run in bedroom

The simplest way to get wire from the breaker box to the OnePlace area is to run it in the corner as pictured above, under the bathroom vanity/sink under the shower pan, then up the OnePlace center. This little bit of exposed wire is really not very obtrusive. The little bit of blue on the right side is plastic flex conduit - most of the wiring run is in this conduit to minimize any possibility of chafe issues down the road

Hole through pocket door

This is the first place I started - a hole large enough to feed the flex conduit to under the bathroom vanity

Another hole

Needed one more hole for the conduit to continue its route forward

Under the sink

You will have to disassemble the area under the sink to gain access like this

Under the shower pan

And under the shower pan. I need to find a stainless or aluminum grill replacement for the ferrous Winnie-supplied grill (notice the rust on the pan)

Under the bed

This is a good time to illustrate the conduit run under the bed

Rear of the breaker box

The new wire entering the rear of the box

Breaker box - inside

There were a couple of knockouts left - this one (1/2") was the easiest to access

New breaker in the box

The new breaker installed

Cutler-Hammer breaker

It is highly unlikely that Lowe's or Home Depot carry Cutler-Hammer products. You might need to call electrical parts distributors in your area to find a dealer
